Panglao Grande Resort

Panglao Grande Resort formerly known as Whites and Greens Beach Resort, located in barangay Libaong, Panglao, Bohol.

For Day-Use, they are available from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM at P120.00 per head.

We went here on June 20, 2021 (Sunday) for our team’s get-together, and we’re glad to chose this resort.

The place is so peaceful and clean. They have separate area for washing just your hands and for washing the stuff we’ve brought (like meat, fish, fruits, and others). They have several grilling stations so guests don’t have to wait for the other groups to be finished.

They also put trash bins per cottage to avoid littering.

Panglao Grande Resort doesn’t have a public toilet and shower. What they have is a private one. We used Room 12 since it’s the nearest room to our open cottage and there’s no guest(s) occupying the room at that time.

Aside from using the private toilet and shower, we are also allowed to put our bags and other belongings inside the room. We are not allowed to stay though and lay down on the bed since we didn’t book for an overnight stay.

As for the staff, they’re so responsive, accommodating and friendly. They responded all our questions and concerns via Facebook at the soonest time possible. When we asked for a knife, they looked for one so they can provide us. They even told us to use the extra charcoal from the previous guests so it won’t go to waste.

The cons:

  • No swimming pool
  • Non-concrete road
  • Inaccurate ways on Google Maps
  • Resort staff is not always available on the main gate

Overall, this resort is highly recommended if you’re looking for an affordable place to chill in Panglao away from the crowds.

Malingin Falls, Cortes (Bohol)

One of the smallest waterfall in Bohol yet one of the coolest as well 😎

It’s a hidden gem of nature as it is a non-touristy spot.

There were no other people in the area but our group.

It’s prolly because the way to get here is kinda difficult due to ongoing constructions like the water treatment plant (see last 4 photos) & the road (above).

Malingin Falls is such a nice place to chill with family, friends, or even just with your partner. 💏

You can lie down the stone with water running beneath your back.

Or go under the waterfalls to see the caves (if you’re a good swimmer or if you have a life vest). 😉

There’s also no need to worry about your stuff ’cause there are “payag” in the area where you can place your belongings.

And this place is totally free! No entrance fee nor environmental fee. Please be responsible lang with your trash.

Overall, Malingin Falls in Cortes, Bohol is worth the visit this summer. 🌞
